Mrs. G.D. Gregory who has been at death's door with heart trouble and complications for many weeks passed away just a little after midnight on Thursday night. For a long time she has been unable to lie down and suffered greatly. Funeral services at the Christian Church on Sun. afternoon were in charge of Rev. H. Hugo. Burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Sarah E. Tooley was the daughter of Theodore and Mary Tooley and was born near Tompkinsville, Ky. Feb 18, 1867. She married G.D. Gregory Feb 19, 1885. They moved to Indiana and with the exception of a few years in Crawfordsville, they have lived in Waveland and vicinity. She is survived by her husband and five brothers, James and Theodore of Tompkinsville; Robert, Samuel and Alvin of Meshach, Ky; and by two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Gray of Grider Ky and Mrs. Albert Pitcock of Russellville. Mrs. Gregory joined the Christian Church at Pleasantville, Ky in 1885 and on coming to Indiana transferred her membership to the Waveland Church. She bore her great sufferings with patience and the sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved husband who spared himself in no way that could add to her comfort. - kbz
